1. The service

The service monitors public regulatory sources concerning data centre development in England, records changes against stored snapshots of the source documents, and delivers structured records, a weekly digest and an API to subscribers. It is provided under the name Gridwyn by [the founder's full name], entrepreneur individuel registered in France under SIREN [number], [business address]. Contact: hello@gridwyn.co.uk.

2. Information, not advice

The service provides information derived from public documents. It is not legal, planning, tax or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for reading the source document or taking professional advice. Records are produced by automated extraction under a published verification policy, with retraction on record, and may contain errors or omissions; dates, thresholds and statuses must be verified against the source before reliance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the provider excludes liability for loss arising from reliance on the service.

3. Sources and licences

Records contain public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0, including material from GOV.UK, legislation.gov.uk, the Planning Inspectorate, Ofgem, NESO and planning.data.gov.uk, each with its own attribution shown on the record. Third-party documents (for example applicants' submissions) are linked, not reproduced; short quotations are provided for identification and verification. Subscribers must respect the licences of the underlying sources when reusing records.

4. Accounts, seats and API keys

An organisation subscribes to a plan with a number of seats; each seat is a named user. API keys belong to the organisation and must be kept secret; the organisation is responsible for use made with its keys. Sharing a seat or key with a third party is not permitted.

5. Fees, tax and cancellation

Fees are stated in pounds sterling per month, excluding VAT, and are billed in advance by card through Stripe. VAT is applied according to the customer's location and status; a UK business providing a valid VAT registration number is invoiced under the reverse charge mechanism. A subscription may be cancelled at any time and ends at the end of the paid period. Trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.

6. Availability and changes

The provider aims for continuous availability but does not guarantee it. Source websites change without notice; the provider will make reasonable efforts to maintain coverage and will show the last successful read of each source. Features may change; material reductions will be announced by email at least 30 days ahead.

7. Data

Personal data is processed as described in the privacy notice. Records produced by the service remain the provider's; the subscriber has a non-exclusive licence to use them internally for the term of the subscription and to retain exported copies afterwards, subject to the source licences.

8. Law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes are subject to the courts of [Rennes], without prejudice to mandatory consumer or business protections of the customer's jurisdiction.
